Casavant Pipe Organ
Opus 2945
First Congregational Church Fresno

------------------

Built in 1967, the pipe organ consisted of 47 ranks across three manuals and pedal.
Dedicated on Sunday, November 26, 1967.

In 1974, the 4' Rohrpfeife was added to the pedal organ as a memorial to Dr. Paul Kershner and Earl Ford.

In 1979, the 2 2/3 Sesquialtera II stop was added to the swell organ.

In 1992, the digital 32' Bourdon and Contra Bombarde were added to the pedal organ, and a three bell zimbelstern added.

Today the Casavant stands as a fifty-rank (plus 2 digital ranks) electro-pneumatic pipe organ containing 2,683 pipes and forty-two stops. It is recognized as being one of the finest organs between San Francisco and Los Angeles, in both installation and acoustics.
