ANNUAL CONCERTS:
BACHTOBER PIPE ORGAN CONCERT - Please join First Congregational Church of Fresno and our resident Organist and Music Director Scott Horton as he presents this annual concert featuring the organ works of Bach. This solo organ concert features Scott Horton and showcases our Casavant Pipe Organ, truly the "King of Instruments".
HALLOWEEN ON VAN NESS - Halloween on Van Ness is an annual concert that features the First Congregational Church of Fresno's Chancel Choir and our resident Organist and Musical Director Scott Horton. Local guest performers are always included in this concert. The "Thrills and Chills Concert" features music (vocal and instrumental) that is sure to bring a tingle to your spine. The evening begins with appetizers and champagne in the Fellowship Hall, which is decked out with the perfect Halloween decorations designed by Cathy Lopez, peruse the silent auction items as you socialize with other guests before being wisk away to the spooky sanctuary for the concert. The evening concludes with a dessert buffet and a parade of all the costumes people were encouraged to wear for the evening. This is truly an exciting event for everyone. Tickets go on sale the first week of October and sell quickly. Don't miss out!
A CELEBRATION OF CHRISTMAS - The First Congregational Church of Fresno's Chancel Choir presents the annual Celebration of Christmas Concert. Dessert reception will be provided at the conclusion on the concert. Please join us in ringing in the holiday season.
A "BIG RED", WHITE, AND BLUE PATRIOTIC CELEBRATION - A patriotic concert to salute America presented by the Chancel Choir and guest musicians. Attend this event to ring in the Fourth of July! The evening begins with a family Bar-B-Que in the Fellowship Hall, which is decked out with the perfect Patriotic decorations designed by Cathy Lopez. Peruse the silent auction items as you socialize with other guests before being wisk away to the sanctuary for the concert and a grand finale. The evening concludes with an ice cream social. This is truly an exciting event for everyone. Tickets are available after January 1st, 2010 and sell quickly. Don't miss out
